MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A woman was arrested after crashing her vehicle while allegedly driving under the influence on Tuesday in Madera County, according to the California Highway Patrol. Officials say officers responded to a solo vehicle crash around 2 p.m. on Road 27, north of Avenue 17. According to CHP, the 47-year-old woman from Madera was driving a black Ford Explorer, northbound on Road 27, when she veered to the right and crashed with the guardrail on the east shoulder due to her level of intoxication. Officers say no other vehicles were involved and no injuries were reported. Officials say the woman was arrested for driving under the influence at the scene.
