Art gallery at Washburn University is temporarily closed for repairs

TOPEKA (KSNT) - An art gallery on Washburn University's campus is temporarily closed.
Washburn University announced in a news release Wednesday, Jan. 15 the Rita Blitt Gallery will be temporarily closed for maintenance. A faulty valve gave way, causing the gallery floors to take on some water damage.

There are digital exhibitions of the artwork displayed from the Rita Blitt Archival Collection online people can look at for the time being. To view those pieces of artwork, click here.
Updates on the completion of maintenance work will be posted on the Mulvane Art Museum's website or social media pages. The Rita Blitt Gallery can be found at 1700 Southwest Jewell Avenue.
