Much warmer weather ahead through the end of the week
Jan 15, 2025
What We’re Tracking
Not as cold tonight
Warming up as the week progresses
Another blast of cold by the weekend
Clear to partly cloudy weather along with a light, but continual southwest breeze will keep temperatures much warmer tonight, only falling into the upper 20s by morning.
The tail end of the week looks to be our best shot at melting much of the deep snowpack. Highs will climb into the lower to middle 40s, possibly warmer south where snow will be first to melt away.
However, another blast of cold air is on the way for next weekend. We'll watch the frontal boundary as it drops into the area on Saturday. Right now, it looks like much of the area will stay dry as the front passes. After the front moves through, some very cold air arrives for Sunday and early next week.
