Thirty-four-year-old Sebastien Bejin was charged and indicted in late 2023 alongside Emilio Garcia and Deiby Felix following an investigation into an overdose death in Salem, which led detectives to investigate and uncover the drug organization allegedly led by the three suspects.
In November 2023, investigators searched four areas that Bejin and Garcia were said to frequent, and they found what they said is one of the largest single-location seizures of fentanyl and methamphetamine in Massachusetts and the surrounding region.

Officers seized nine kilograms of pink heart-shaped fentanyl-laced pills pressed to look like candy, as well as narcotics and five firearms. Throughout the remainder of the investigation, over 75 kilograms (198 pounds) of fentanyl and methamphetamine were also seized, as well as additional kilograms of cocaine and dozens of kilograms of cutting agents, including xylazine, which is used to adulterate controlled substances.
Using surveillance equipment, investigators found that Bejin and Garcia traveled to the location of the stash daily to supply lower-level drug dealers with controlled substances. Upon searching Felix's home, officers located more than three kilograms of pressed pills containing methamphetamine and fentanyl and a firearm.
Officers discovered a drug laboratory in Felix's basement when visiting a second time, where they seized multiple industrial pill presses, mixing equipment, and other manufacturing materials.
Bejin pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to distribute controlled substances and possess controlled substances with intent to distribute and one count of possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute. He is scheduled to be sentenced on May 1st.
