NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The New Mexico Department of Transportation is hosting an in-person car seat inspection on January 18, from 10 a.m. - noon at the Farmington Fire Station 2. Attendees should bring the car seat, car seat manual and their child, if possible, to the event to get instructions and inspection from officials. If needed, a replacement car seat can be purchased for $35. Services will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
