MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A popular restaurant chain may be coming to Germantown, marking its first location in the Memphis area. First Watch, a breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant, has submitted an application to renovate a former Chili's at 7810 Poplar Avenue, according to the city of Germantown. That could be the first step in bringing the restaurant to Germantown, the city said in a social media post Wednesday. "The potential arrival of First Watch is something our residents will surely celebrate!” Mayor Mike Palazzolo wrote in the post. First Watch has several locations in Middle Tennessee, one in Oxford, Mississippi and one in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
