LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW)- Three Lexington area high school basketball talents are 2025 McDonald’s All-American Games nominees. Kentucky commit Malachi Moreno of Great Crossing, Michigan commit Ciara Byars of George Rogers Clark and Louisville commit Grace Mbugua of Danville Christian Academy are the nominees. Players were nominated by a high school coach, athletic director, principal or member of the games’ selection committee. The final roster of 48 players will be revealed later in January. 24 girls and 24 boys will make the cut. The Girls Game is on Tuesday, April 1 at 6:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and the Boys Game will immediately follow on ESPN at 9:00 p.m. ET.
