The Latest Northeast Wisconsin forecast from Storm Team 5... An area of low pressure passing to our north is our next weathermaker to impact the area. After 5pm, expect a line of light snow showers to zip across the area, which will exit before midnight. Most see a dusting to a half an inch, but areas could see up close to 1" of snow. Winds will be out of the SW 10-20mph. Temperatures this evening will hit its lowest around 7-8pm but as the front moves in, expect a warm up into the mid 20s early tomorrow morning. Once this line moves through, have to watch for a few leftover flakes or at most a light snow shower to move through into the early morning. Otherwise for Thursday, plan on mostly cloudy skies with larger gaps in the clouds toward sunset. Highs tomorrow will warm into the low to middle 30s. Winds will be gusting close to 30mph in the morning, but eases throughout the afternoon. The cold front from this evenings system will finally start to take aim on the area, but not before highs reach close to 40 degrees Friday afternoon. The front drops through overnight and the temperatures will begin to drop. Within this front could be a few flurries, but nothing accumulating. Highs Saturday around 20 degrees will occur in the morning as a strong NW wind takes over. Plan for highs to reach the single digits Sunday through Tuesday and morning wind chills are likely to fall 25 to 35 degrees below zero.
