MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) - Police in Wisconsin are investigating a shooting incident that occurred on Friday night.
According to an incident report from the Madison Police Department, officers were sent to an apartment building around 8:30 p.m.

An 18-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound in his leg, and a responding officer applied medical care before taking him to the hospital. Two minors, identified as family members were home at the time.
At this time, detectives have determined the shooting was inside the apartment and was likely accidental. A K-9 unit searched near the apartment, finding no weapon.
