NEW HAVEN, Ind. (WOWO) — Indiana State Senator Andy Zay introduced legislation to move the struggling Rising Star Casino from Rising Sun to New Haven. Zay represents Huntington, Wabash, and Grant Counties and introduced the bill despite the opposition of New Haven and Allen County-based State Representatives and Senators. He said he did so because he views the move as a “state decision” to move an underperforming casino away from competition in Ohio and Kentucky.
