EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- Film director and writer of his latest feature "Somewhere in Montana" Brandon Smith stopped by the KTSM 9 News studio to talk about his upcoming movie screening in Las Cruces.
The screening of "Somewhere in Montana" will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 15, at Telshor 12 in Las Cruces.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A between Smith and the audience.
The film stars Graham McTavish (Outlander/The Hobbit), Michelle Hurd (Star Trek: Picard), Jonathan Stoddard (Furry Little Christmas), and Matt Drago (Just Go With It).
It follows the story of a Montana cattle rancher (McTavish) who is at risk of losing his land and agrees to let a film production use his ranch for a location shoot. The rancher clashes with the urban film crew, especially the film director (Drago) who will stop at nothing to finish his movie.
