(COLORADO SPRINGS) -- High School Hockey Teams in the area are coming together for a great cause. The 4th Annual Palmer Lake Outdoor Classic is happening on Tuesday, Jan. 21. Gates open at 5 p.m. and the puck drops at 6. Tickets are just $15 for adults and $9 for students. Captain Owen Henry, of Lewis-Palmer High School, along with his teammates joined host Justin on the set to express their excitement for this month's festivities. This event is a primary fundraiser for the Lewis-Palmer Hockey Team. "Fans can expect a lot of competitive hockey," Henry said. "There will be fireworks after we play. We are all competing for the coveted Star Trophy, but most importantly it's going to be a lot of fun." Other teams participating include; Palmer Ridge High School, Pine Creek, Monument Academy, Chatfield, and Grandview High Schools. In addition to the hockey and fireworks, there will be food trucks and firepits to keep fans warm. This is a tremendous way to show support for local high school athletes.
