CHARLOTTE, N.C. – In an inspiring show of community support, Subaru South Charlotte joined forces with Operation Warm, a national nonprofit that provides brand-new winter coats and shoes to children in need.
Together, they distributed more than 400 new coats and shoes to the children of the Salvation Army Center of Hope Shelter in Charlotte, NC, ensuring that every child at the center is prepared for the winter months ahead. By the end of the year, Subaru and other retailers will have provided more than 130,000 children across the country with crucial items like these.
On Tuesday, Subaru employee volunteers visited the Salvation Army to provide hundreds of brand-new coats and shoes to every child through its partnership with Operation Warm. This heartfelt initiative is part of Subaru Loves to Help’s commitment to easing the financial strain on local families, guaranteeing their children stay warm this winter.
Through this partnership, Subaru aims to reach thousands of students, offering not just coats, but a warm and confident start to the season.
