Police identify 33yearold man killed in rollover crash on I275 near I74

A 33-year-old man is dead after a rollover crash on I-275 early Wednesday morning, the Colerain Police Department said. The crash happened in the westbound lanes of I-275 near I-75 just before 4 a.m. A driver in a single vehicle rolled over multiple times, appearing to have landed on its top just off the road. Police said the driver and a passenger were critically injured. Both were transported to UC Medical Center where Robert D'Anthony Simmons was pronounced dead, police said.It's unclear if Simmons was the driver or passenger. Police also did not say the current condition of the other person. The crash resulted in the entire highway being closed during the morning commute, while crews worked to clean up the car. The interstate lanes reopened around 8 a.m. Police are investigating alcohol as a factor in the crash. The crash remains under investigation by Colerain police's Traffic Unit.
