Brisk But Bright Wednesday Ahead
Jan 15, 2025
We’re staring down a beautiful sunrise over southern New England this morning, but we’re also still dealing with the cold and the wind. Temperatures are currently in the teens and low 20s, not far from where they should be this time of day. However, with winds gusting into the 20s, it feels like we’re in the single digits, if not low teens. Later this afternoon, highs are only getting into the low 30s, and the wind will keep it feeling like we’re in the low 20s.
Overnight, we’re mostly clear and not as windy. Temperatures will be in the teens.
Tomorrow starts off mostly sunny, but clouds increase throughout the afternoon thanks to low pressure to our south. We could see a flurry or a quick-moving snow shower in the late afternoon and evening. High temperatures will be in the upper 20s and low 30s once again.
Friday is slightly less brisk, with plenty of sunshine and high temperatures in the mid to upper 30s.
Saturday and Sunday will be warmer (highs in the 40s) but wetter as well. Our next storm will bring showers our way starting early Saturday evening. That rain will linger into Sunday morning. We catch a break Sunday afternoon, but late Sunday night into Monday morning another area of low pressure could throw a few snow showers our way!
