Police confirmed the crash involved two vehicles, at West Mercury Blvd. and King STreet.
“I was sitting in my truck right before I went into work, and I heard a loud boom,” said Moses Reynolds, who heard the crash. “So I didn't know what it was. So I got out of the truck, and then all I saw was smoke coming. And then within about 2 to 3 minutes, it went up in flames. And I was really concerned.”

One driver said when they saw the traffic backups, they knew it was a bad accident, calling it a tragedy. Adding accidents are happening too often on this road.Â
“It's very frustrating. And trying to get the kids to school, it's really frustrating. And my thoughts and prayers are with those that are involved,” said the driver.
