MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- The woman accused of trying to sell Graceland appeared in federal court on Wednesday morning.
53-year-old Lisa Findley is accused of attempting to scam the late Elvis Presley's family out of millions of dollars and steal their ownership interest in his former home -- Graceland.
During the hearing, her defense requested more time to go over the evidence.
According to Aaron Henricks of the U.S. Department of Justice, the defense has been handed a flash drive containing 54,000 pages of discovery.
Possible plea deal for woman accused of trying to steal Graceland
However, the court learned that even though the bulk of the discovery had been given to the defense, including recent jail phone calls, attorneys are still waiting on a few more documents.
The government says they are waiting on the analysis of shredded documents that they are working to reconstruct.
The Department of Justice says Findley assumed multiple identities to falsely accuse Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis Presley's daughter, of borrowing millions of dollars from a fake private lender, using Graceland as Collateral, and then failing to repay the debt.
The government says Findley fabricated loan documents, filed a false creditor's claim and a fake deed of trust, and submitted several false court filings.

If convicted, Findley faces a mandatory two years in prison for aggravated identity theft and a maximum of 20 years in prison for mail fraud.
However, court records from a November hearing state Findley's attorney mentioned that a proposed plea deal had been presented.
Both parties declined comments after Wednesday's hearing.
Findley is due back in federal court 90 days from today. The judge says at that time, he hopes they can find a way to close her case.
Findley is due back in court on April 16.
