PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — Three people were saved from a house fire on Newton Street in Ferguson, according to the Somerset Fire Department.
Officials say the fire happened Monday and had already engulfed portions of the home by the time crews arrived. Firefighters reported flames coming from the home as they began rescue operations.
Officials say two people were rescued from the roof with a ladder, while a third person was pulled from an upstairs bedroom.
One victim was transported to Lake Cumberland Hospital before being flown to a hospital in Lexington.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
