North Carolina school bus driver charged in crash that injured disabled students

BEAUFORT, N.C. (WNCT) — A Carteret County School bus that was carrying several children with disabilities was involved in a single motor vehicle accident on Tuesday morning.
Four students, the driver and an adult bus monitor were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
Carteret County deputies, Beaufort Police Department, NC Highway Patrol and EMS are on the scene. NC Highway Patrol will handle the investigation.
The bus driver, Heather Guthrie, 48, of Gloucester, has been charged with reckless driving.
