North Carolina tennis coach charged with child sex crimes

UNION COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A tennis coach in Union County is facing a slew of charges following an extensive sexual assault investigation, the sheriff's office announced.
Timi Kano Solomon, 47, has been charged with multiple offenses, including statutory sexual offense with a child and indecent liberties with a child.
The sheriff's office said their investigation began after a person came forward and disclosed inappropriate sexual conduct by Solomon, who served as her private tennis coach.
Solomon was arrested and transported to the Union County Detention Center. He received a secured $100,000 bond and has since been released after posting it.
This case is due back in court at the end of January.
