Driver arrested after deputy chase in Lexington County

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)– A collision on Sunset Blvd/ US-378 near I-20 that involved multiple vehicles had all inbound lanes closed and only one outbound lane open on Tuesday evening, said police.
Lexington Police said the collision was part of a vehicle chase involving law enforcement.
The driver that caused the collision was involved in a pursuit with Richland County Sheriff’s Department when it crashed into several vehicles.
The driver was taken into custody and there were only minor injuries with those involved in the wreck.
