UPDATE: LANCASTER, SC – A man on his way home from work discovered the body of 57-year-old Ronald Estridge on Tuesday. Estridge walked away from his home on Deason Lane in Lancaster on January 7, 2025. His family told investigators at the time that sometimes appeared confused. The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office says crews from several agencies were in the Buford Community on Tuesday searching for Estridge. They received a call that a man’s body had been discovered in an elevated wooded area just off Cannery Road. The area is a short distance from where he lived. The Sheriff’s Office says there is no indication of foul play. The cause of death is pending the autopsy results.
