CHARLOTTE, NC — CMPD  is investigating a homicide in northwest Charlotte.  Police said they found a man shot at the Market Express convenience store on Brookshire Boulevard just after 7:30 Tuesday night.  Medic pronounced him dead at the scene. The WCCB crew on the scene could see a car and the windows were shot out. Investigators are talking with witnesses and trying to find evidence. “We are always looking for privately owned or public cameras, and the homicide detectives are checking them now,” CMPD Major Bret Balamucki said.  Police have not released any details about a suspect. This is a developing story.
