FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- One person was in the hospital with serious injuries after a fire broke out at a home late Tuesday night in Fairfax County. Details remain limited, however, in a post on X, around 11:15 p.m., the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department said crews were on the scene of a fire in the 7500 block of Long Pine Drive, in Springfield. Fairfax County firefighters were on the scene of a house fire on Long Pine Drive on Jan. 14. (x/ffxfirerescue) Officials said one person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Their condition is currently unknown. As of Wednesday morning, investigators are working to determine what caused the fire.
