Ludlow teachers to be given classroom supplies in recognition of dedication

LUDLOW, Mass. (WWLP) - The Ludlow Veterans of Foreign Wars is giving away classroom supplies to teachers on Wednesday.

The organization wants to recognize the dedication shown by teachers, so they are giving away essential items like notebooks, pencils, and classroom decorations, according to a news release from the Ludlow VFW.
The giveaway is first come first serve and will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Ludlow Veterans Center at 487 Holyoke Street. Teachers are encouraged to bring a valis Ludlow school ID.
“Teachers are the backbone of our community, and we know many spend their own money to create enriching environments for their students,” said Eric Segundo, Post Commander. “This is our way of saying thank you and giving back to those who give so much.”
