Very cold temperatures have returned to the Metro this morning as we're starting in the low and mid teens. Highs, however, are expected to warm a bit more today. Some upper 30s/low 40s are likely tomorrow and widespread 40s Friday! Enjoy the short warm-up because a big blast of cold air is still expected this weekend! Highs are tanking through the 20s Saturday (cold & windy Chiefs game) to the low teens Sunday & next Monday. Morning lows early next week are likely below zero!
