ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Residents looking to reduce waste and give back to the environment can now learn the art of composting for free. The City of Albuquerque is hosting a workshop aiming to teach locals how to turn food scraps and yard waste into nutrient-rich compost for gardening. The city said initiatives like this support the city's goals to reduce landfill waste and promote sustainability.
