WESTERLY, R.I. (WPRI) — Taylor Swift's beloved Holiday House has sat quietly on a Watch Hill beach for decades — but it's back in the spotlight as it undergoes extensive renovations.
The seaside mansion, which Swift bought back in 2013 for nearly $18 million, is being expanded by 400 feet, according to a town building permit.

The building permit notes that contractors will be remodeling an existing kitchen, as well as adding an unspecified number of bathrooms and a 16-by-24 foot bedroom.
The renovations are expected to cost roughly $1.7 million.
The songstress' Bluff Avenue estate, which already boasts eight bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, overlooks the Atlantic ocean and has been the backdrop of some of her star-studded parties over the years.
Swift's cliffside retreat inspired her 2020 song "the last great american dynasty," which tells the story of a socialite who once lived there.
