Lions News: Metro Detroit businesses offer shot at winning playoff tickets

Don’t have hundreds and hundreds and hundreds laying around? You may be in luck. For those hoping to get in on the Detroit Lions playoff action but are reeling at the price, a few Metro Detroit businesses are offering a fans a chance at playoff tickets.
As Jeremy outlines here, Detroit Lions tickets are the hottest in the NFL, with the get-in price for the Lions-Commanders game Saturday higher than the combined price for the other three Divisional Round games. A few spots around Metro Detroit and beyond are offering fans the opportunity to snag some tickets to the big game.
For the last week or so, The Home Bakery in Rochester has had fans flocking to their storefront to see a life-size cake version of Amon-Ra St. Brown’s headstand touchdown celebration.

The All-Pro wide receiver caught wind of the magnificent display and stopped by to check it out. Now the bakery is raffling off tickets to the home playoff game to anyone who makes a purchase at the store now through Thursday.
Iconic local doughnut shop Dutch Girl Donuts is also holding a raffle for a pair of tickets. Customers who buy a dozen doughnuts get a chance to enter the raffle, and the winner will be drawn at 6 p.m. Friday. Buyers can only get one ticket per dozen doughnuts, with a limit of four entries per visit.
Over in Canada, the Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association is offering a pair of tickets—you just have to shop at a local business in the area and show your receipt for a chance to win through 5 p.m. Wednesday.
If you do end up hunting for tickets on your own, police caution fans to be wary of scams.
