WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- D.C. police are investigating a double shooting that broke out Tuesday evening. The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said two men were shot in the foot in the 700 block of Gresham Place in Northwest D.C. at around 5:30 p.m. Security fencing goes up across DC ahead of presidential inauguration The two men were still conscious and breathing when they were taken to the hospital. MPD said to look out for three people wearing dark-colored clothing who were running north bound. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 with the event number: I20250022368
