FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) said a man was arrested after he burglarized a business in Mantua on Monday morning. Just before 7:15 a.m., FCPD officers responded to the 9400 block of Mathy Drive after receiving reports of a commercial burglary. Virginia lawmakers to reintroduce controversial bill that could bring casino to Fairfax County The victim said the business was burglarized on Jan. 12 and provided security camera footage of the incident. A description of the suspect was obtained for the investigation. Then at around 2:48 p.m., officers responded to the 7200 block of Little River Turnpike in Annandale for reports of a larceny. The report stated that a man came into the business, took things and left without paying. Officers found that man outside the business and took him into custody. He was identified as 32-year-old Matthew Fisch. Traffic to be ‘significantly impacted’ near Tysons, around Dulles Airport as crews install bridge girders over I-495 FCPD said officers recognized him as the suspect who was involved in the burglary that took place on Jan. 12. Fisch was charged with burglary and petit larceny. He is being held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center without bond.
