ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Officials with the Memorial Art Gallery in Rochester announced Tuesday that they're accepting submissions for the 69th Rochester-Finger Lakes Exhibition. Pieces featured at the MAG Tuesday afternoon. The exhibit will showcase works by artists from Western and Central New York and will be open from the end of June to the beginning of October. Artists are invited to submit their work for the event from now until Feb. 16. It's a chance for the community to come together and celebrate the work of local artists, according to officials News 8 spoke with Tuesday. So, it's a great opportunity and an open door for those artists who are accepted to the museum's exhibition program," Timothy Peterson, Ann and Irving Norry curator of contemporary art.
