SFPD arrests alleged gunman accused of shooting at Muni bus driver

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- A 58-year-old Oakland man was arrested after allegedly shooting at a Muni bus driver in San Francisco early Monday, according to the San Francisco Police Department.
Police responded at 6 a.m. to the area of Fourth and Berry streets, one block away from Oracle Park, on the report of gunshots. Arriving officers met with the bus driver at the scene, who said an unknown male shot at him before fleeing on Fourth Street.
Paramedics assessed the driver, who was not injured in the shooting.

A bullet went through the windshield of the bus before striking a passenger seat inside. There were as many as 20 passengers on the bus at the time of the shooting, but they did not remain at the scene to talk to responding officers, according to police.
Officers investigating the incident located the suspected gunman nearby, SFPD said. The man, identified as Adolph Patrick Greene, 58, of Oakland, was taken into custody. A firearm was recovered by the SFPD Marine Unit.
Greene faces the following charges:
Discharge of a firearm at an occupied motor vehicle
Malicious mischief
Carrying a loaded firearm by a convicted felon
Felon in possession of a firearm
Carrying a loaded firearm in a public place
Carrying a concealed firearm
Felon in possession of ammunition
Violent felon with firearm
Destroying or concealing evidence
Possession of drug paraphernalia
