Update: Central NY under a winter weather advisory until 1 a.m. Thursday – up to 8 inches of snow

On Tuesday at 2:21 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated winter weather advisory valid from 4 p.m. until Thursday 1 a.m. for Onondaga, Madison and Oneida counties.The weather service describes, "Total snow accumulations between 3 and 8 inches, with locally higher amounts across northern Onondaga County. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph."
