It seems that the recent discussions on ferries and the ferry system are stuck in a 1950s sort of bureaucratic sameness. We need imaginative solutions to the actual problem — moving around Puget Sound — not solutions to how to get more ferries. The state needs to reconsider bridges, tunnels and eliminating odd routes.
