Jan 14, 2025
President Joe Biden will deliver his farewell address to the nation Wednesday, Jan. 15, in East Coast prime time.
Biden, who is nearing the end of his four-year term, will deliver the speech at 5 p.m. Pacific time from the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office.
All major broadcast and cable news networks are expected to carry the address, which the White House says will be 20 minutes in length.
The president’s press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters that Biden’s farewell address would reflect on his “50-plus years as a public official.”
“He has some thoughts on the future, not just of the country, but how this country moves forward as a leader, when you think about global events, important global issues, and certainly he will lay that out,” she said.
Look for the speech on the television channels and streaming platforms of ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, PBS, CNBC, CNN, Fox Business, Fox News, MSNBC and C-SPAN.
Radio listeners can find the speech on NPR affiliates KPCC (89.3. FM) and KCRW (89.9 FM).
