NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Clouds will hold temperatures up tonight so expect lows in the low to mid 40s across the area by Wednesday morning. Wednesday will be another cloudy and cool days with temperatures topping out in the mid 50s. Another round of showers will move through starting later Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday night. However expect lower amounts than the past couple of systems. Most of the showers will be light and rain will end by sunrise Thursday. Temperatures warm to around 60 Thursday but then into the mid 60s Friday as southerly flow increases. At the moment the next big front is set to move through on Saturday. We will likely see mild temperatures ahead of that and then another big shot of winter by Sunday and early next week. The big question will be exactly how cold we get. There will be the potential for a hard freeze again in some areas so stay tuned for details as we get closer to the weekend.
