NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating after burnt human remains were found in the Desire neighborhood on Tuesday, Jan.14. The NOPD reported that the remains were found at the intersection of Almonaster and Florida avenues around 11:56 a.m. Latest FBI investigation revealed search history of New Year’s terror attack suspect The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS and the New Orleans Fire Department.
