MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Two men were caught on camera robbing two gas stations in Midtown and Frayser at gunpoint over the weekend, police say. Around 8:15 p.m. officers were called to an armed robbery at Circle K on 1834 Madison Avenue. Witnesses say two males came into the business with handguns threatening to shoot the clerk while demanding money from the cash register. (Photo provided by: MPD) Video footage inside the gas station showed one of the suspects jumping on top of the counter pointing a gun, demanding money. After taking the cash from the register, police say the two males left the scene in a black sedan. One of the suspects is described as a man wearing a red mask covering the lower portion of his face, a black hoodie, black pants, and black shoes, and armed with a silver and black handgun. The second suspect is described as a man wearing a black face mask with a broken heart symbol, a black hoodie with white cross symbols on the sleeves and hoodie, black pants, and black shoes, carrying a turquoise blue backpack on his back, and armed with a black handgun. VIDEO: Summer Avenue restaurant burglarized, MPD searching for suspects This comes after a Circle K on 3333 Thomas Street in Frayser was robbed at gunpoint by two men last Friday around 9:20 p.m. Video surveillance at the gas station showed the two male suspects responsible, police say. One of the suspects was wearing a red cloth covering his entire head, a black hoodie, black pants, and white shoes, and armed with a silver and black handgun. The second suspect was wearing a green face covering, a black hoodie, black pants, and black shoes and was armed with a black handgun. The two men are accused of stealing money and vape products before leaving the scene in a black sedan possibly a Ford Fusion.
