WARE, Mass. (WWLP) - A man from Ware faces six charges including rape, kidnapping, and sexual contact with animals. In a public news release from the Ware Police Department, an investigation conducted by Ware detectives and troopers from the State Police Unit of the Hampden District Attorney's Office led to the arrest of 34-year-old Michael Stanikmas on Monday. “Monster” victim statements read during West Springfield serial rapist sentencing Stanikmas is being held on $200,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday at the Eastern Hampshire District Court in Belchertown.
