Quando Rondo begins serving sentence for 2023 arrest

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) - Savannah-born rapper Quando Rondo, also known as Tyquain Bowman, began serving his 33-month sentence for charges stemming from a 2023 arrest.
Rondo was originally arrested on December 8, 2023, and charged with two counts of conspiracy to violate Georgia’s controlled substances law, one count of participating in criminal activity affiliated with a street gang and one count of illegal use of a cell phone to facilitate a drug deal.
The rapper reached a deal with the prosecution and entered a guilty plea to the lesser charge of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and to distribute controlled substances (marijuana).
Rondo must pay a fine and will be subject to three years of supervised release. He will also be subject to mandatory mental health counseling and regular drug testing as part of his plea agreement.
According to reports, Rondo will serve his time at Federal Correction Institution Elkton in Lisbon, Ohio.
