Providence man to serve 25 years for child molestation

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WLNE) — A Providence man has been sentenced to the ACI for sexually assaulting a victim under the age of 14, according to Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha.
Kevin Frias, 42, was sentenced to 25 years after being found guilty of two counts of first-degree child molestation and three counts of second-degree child molestation on October 7, 2024.
He was sentenced on January 9 in Providence Superior Court.
Frias sexually assaulted a female victim under the age of 14 who was known to him multiple times at his home in Providence between 2013 and 2018.
