SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – Publix Super Market is set to open its newest store in the Summerville community next month. The grocery store chain will welcome customers to its location at 1274 Nexton Parkway on Wednesday, February 12 at 7 a.m. Jared Glover, Publix media relations manager, said the company is excited to continue its growth across the Lowcountry with the latest store opening. “We look forward to bringing the Publix difference to our new customers and being active members in this great community,” he said. The store is over 48,000 square feet and will employ roughly 140 associates.
