Livonia High School student hurt in stabbing Tuesday morning

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) -- Livonia High School was placed on lockdown Tuesday morning after a student was stabbed.
According to a release from the Pointe Coupee Parish School Board, a student was stabbed in the arm by another student around 8 a.m. School resource officers apprehended the student accused of the stabbing.
The student injured was taken to a hospital and is in stable condition.
All students were dismissed from school after the lockdown.
