Update: Winter weather advisory for Cayuga County until 1 a.m. Thursday

An updated winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 3:03 a.m. valid from 1 p.m. until Thursday 1 a.m. for Cayuga County.The weather service describes, "Total snow accumulations 4 to 9 inches in the most persistent lake snows. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph will also produce blowing and drifting snow."
