BOWIE, Md. (DC News Now) -- The City of Bowie Police Department (BPD) is looking for the suspects involved in a shooting that happened Monday evening inside a Chipotle. Just after 5:20 p.m., BPD officers responded to a call about shots fired inside the Chipotle at 15500 Excelsior Drive. Officers learned that three men approached a man in the parking lot and tried to rob him. The victim then ran inside the Chipotle and was followed by a suspect armed with a handgun. There was an altercation between the two and a round was discharged. 1 in custody after shooting in Montgomery County breaks out Luckily, no one was hurt and the suspects fled the scene. BPD said the suspect vehicle is a stolen black Chevrolet Camaro with a D.C. license place, JK9546. Anyone with information is asked to contact BPD at (240) 544-5700.
