The goal, according to officials, is to help provide services and benefits to veterans and their families there for free.
Services include help filing appeals for denied claims, and providing staff to help those who are older, and offering caregivers guidance about aging services and other programs meant to service veterans. They can also receive information about home care, housing, transportation, wellness programs, financial support, health insurance counseling and referral services.

"While we've served thousands of people in this community for the past several years, we've broken records in how many people we've been able to serve particularly our veterans, we know there's more people out there who need this kind of help they just don't know what's available so this benefits analysis that's available at this location and at bay town plaza will be able to work with our older adults and our veterans to look at what their service was, what they're eligible for, what they're currently receiving and what they're missing," Bello explained.
The centers are located at the Mall at Greece Ridge and Bay Town Plaza with both offices open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
