ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) –  For the second time this season, UNM Lobos star guard Donovan Dent is the Mountain West Player of the Week. Dent led the Lobos to a road win at Wyoming and a nationally televised home win against San Diego State last week. He averaged 19 points, 5.5 assists, and 2.5 steals for the week. Dent scored 22 points against Wyoming which included 13 points in the second half to complete a Lobos comeback. Dent also put up a game-high 16 points, three steals and five assists in the Lobos win against San Diego State. Dent is 8th in the nation in assists with 116. UNM has won seven straight games and has started Mountain West play at 6-0. The (14-3), 6-0 MW) Lobos are at San Jose State Tuesday night. The game has an 8 p.m. start time on the Mountain West Network.
