Deputies said Lacorey Bogard was sitting in a wheelchair, and there was a black handgun at his feet. They said the teen suspect and three juvenile females were behind the counter of the store.
Investigators said the call came in as a possible self-inflicted gunshot victim, but, after talking to witnesses and reviewing surveillance video, took the juvenile into custody and charged him with negligent homicide.
The sheriff's office has not released any other details about the case.
