LIHUʻE, Hawaii (KHON2) -- The Kauaʻi Bus announced the launch of a new app that would allow users to pay for their ride fares anytime, anywhere. Riders can also manage their Stored Value Accounts on the app or online, allowing users to load funds onto their account at their convenience. 159 nurses at Wilcox Hospital on Kauai likely to strike Onboard ticket validators have also been installed on the Kauaʻi Bus fleet, which will speed up boarding. "Our team has always sought ways to modernize antiquated government processes, and this new development from Kauaʻi Bus does exactly that," said Mayor Derek S.K. Kawakami.
